Why were Real Madrid not having their sponsor names yesterday ?

Just watching the Lyon vs Madrid UCL game.
I noticed that Real jerseys did not have their sponsor names...did a little bit of research and found this link which says

The logo of Real Madrid's primary sponsor, bwin.com, will not be on the team's shirt during tonight's match against Olympique Lyonnais. With sports betting soon to be deregulated in France and the framework for granting licenses already under design, bwin, a world leader in online sports betting, will be permitted to request a license during the adjudication process.

Real Madrid is now a "brand"...

....and they join Liverpool and Chelsea

Real Madrid has been declared a 'Superbrand' by the independent branding arbiter Superbrands at a gala award ceremony in Madrid.

Real Madrid received the status at the Superbrands Spain event, alongside other top brands Google, Heineken, L’Oréal Paris, Bimbo, Samsung and Campofrío.

Other European football clubs to have received Superbrand awards in their own countries include Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Liverpool, Juventus and Benfica

Off topic : Why is the Real Madrid Vs Barcelona game considered a derby ?

Madrid and Barcelona are nearly 630 Kms away.Historically, derbies are when two teams from the same city ( or in close proximity) lock horns.So why is the 'el Classico' considered a derby.

We here in India will of course miss what could go onto to be the game of the footballing year since ESPN Star could not get rights to telecast the la liga

hopefully is a good game....CR9 won't be playing today cause he is injured.

For people in India, Champ's league is the only time when we get to see the la liga clubs

Unfortunatley for us ESPN-STAR did not win the TV rights to telecast the la liga games..

Most probably i think the Spanish clubs have jacked up the telecast rights which ESS could not afford.
