Rene Higuita and Sammy Hyypia

Two very intersting articles on the Beeb.

Rene Higuita retires: Most people would recognize Rene for that "in your face" scorpion kick that would have made his manager's heart skip several beats.

I still remember him for that Italia 1990 world cup match against Cameroon when Roger Milla stole the ball from him nearly midfield and celeberated near the corner flag.

The wildman finally walks away from football.Don't think there are any charcters like him anymore.

Talking about characters Sammy Hyypia ( ex Liverpool defender) might be part of the Bayren Leverkusan team that goes onto win the Bundesliga this year feels Phil Minshull.

My money is still on Bayren Munich though...think there is too much class in that team this year. They have 7 consecutive wins now and are just two points Leverkusan.
